The data is used exclusively to ensure trouble-free operation of the website and to detect misuse. It is not combined with other data sources. The log files are deleted automatically after 7 days.

This website is provided as a static website via Amazon Web Services (AWS). The following are used:

  • Amazon S3 — storage of the static website files
  • Amazon CloudFront — content delivery network (CDN) for serving the website
  • Amazon Route 53 — DNS management
  • AWS Certificate Manager (ACM) — SSL/TLS certificate for encrypted connections

The servers are located in the EU (Frankfurt region). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR (AWS Data Processing Addendum) is in place with Amazon Web Services.

5. Contacting us

If you contact us by email or via a contact form, the data you provide (name, email address, company, message) is stored in order to process your request.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to your request).

The data is deleted as soon as your request has been conclusively processed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Cookies

This website uses no tracking cookies, no analytics cookies and no marketing cookies. Only technically necessary cookies are used, and only where required for the functionality of the website (e.g. session management).

7. Analytics tools and tracking

On this website we use our own, cookieless audience measurement. No third-party tools (such as Google Analytics) are used, no cookies are set, and no information is stored on or read from your device.

Only anonymous usage data is collected: pages viewed, source (referring website or campaign parameters), country of origin, device type (mobile/tablet/desktop), language setting, as well as time on page and scroll depth. To estimate the number of visitors, an anonymous hash is generated from the IP address and browser identifier using a randomly rotating daily value; the IP address itself is never stored. Recognition across multiple days or the creation of profiles is therefore impossible. We cannot attribute the data to any individual.

8. Social media plugins

This website integrates no social media plugins. No data is transmitted to social networks.

9. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser's address bar changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the padlock symbol in your browser bar. When SSL/TLS encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
