Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about contboxx Vault — answered concisely.
Product & Technology
What is contboxx Vault?
contboxx Vault is an enterprise AI platform for internal knowledge management. It ingests company knowledge, enriches it, and distributes it automatically to the right channels — digital signage, Slack/Teams, email, and messenger. All processing happens on-premises on your own hardware.
Which AI models are used?
Vault uses Qwen3, a powerful open-source language model running locally on an NVIDIA DGX Spark cluster. There is no connection to external cloud AI services. Inference runs via SGLang/vLLM with an OpenAI-compatible API.
Which output channels are supported?
Vault ships with preconfigured output channels: digital signage (viewneo and all HTML5-capable systems), Slack, Microsoft Teams, email newsletters and digests, WhatsApp Business, and RSS feeds. Beyond that, any system with an API can serve as an output channel via REST API and webhooks — the possibilities are virtually unlimited. Combined with 40+ integrations on the source side, Vault distributes information fully automatically to any desired audience.
How many languages does Vault support?
Vault automatically localizes content into over 119 languages. Translation is handled entirely locally by the integrated AI model — without external translation services or additional per-language costs.
Privacy & Compliance
Is contboxx Vault GDPR compliant?
Yes, Vault is GDPR by design. All data processing takes place on-premises on your hardware. No data is transferred to third parties. A data processing agreement (DPA) is not required because Adversign Media has no access to your data.
Does my data leave the company?
No. contboxx Vault operates on a zero-data-egress principle. Your data never leaves your infrastructure at any point. There is no cloud connection, no telemetry, and no external API call for AI processing.
What does the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification mean?
The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification confirms that Adversign Media operates an Information Security Management System (ISMS) that meets international standards. This includes systematic risk assessment, access controls, incident management, and continuous improvement of security processes.
Costs & Implementation
What does contboxx Vault cost?
Vault is offered as an annual module license: contboxx Vault €45,000, Vault Ask €18,000, Vault Learn €6,200, Vault Tender €7,200 per year. The suite of contboxx Vault, Vault Ask, and Vault Learn costs €69,200 per year, the complete package €76,400 per year — plus one-time commissioning (€9,500) and AI hardware if required. No usage-based costs, no token fees, no per-user licensing.
How long does implementation take?
Typical implementation takes approximately 6 weeks from kickoff to go-live. This includes hardware setup, configuration of data sources and output channels, testing phase, and team training.
What hardware is required?
Vault runs on local AI hardware (e.g. NVIDIA DGX Spark). The hardware is not part of the license: it is provided by the customer or offered additionally — guideline €18,000 to €60,000 one-time, depending on user count, model size, and performance. It is installed in your data center or server room; you only need a standard 19" rack space, power, and network connectivity.
Do I need technical staff to operate it?
No. Vault is designed to operate autonomously after initial setup. Updates and maintenance are performed remotely by Adversign Media. No IT expertise is required for daily use.
Integration & Operations
How does Vault integrate with existing systems?
Vault offers 40+ integrations and an OpenAI-compatible REST API. Data sources like SharePoint, Teams, Confluence, SAP, or Salesforce are connected via standard connectors. Output channels like viewneo digital signage, Slack, email, and WhatsApp Business are preconfigured.
Does Vault only work with viewneo or also with other digital signage systems?
Vault outputs content as standards-compliant HTML5, making it compatible with any digital signage system that can display HTML5 content. Integration with viewneo is particularly seamless since both products are made by Adversign Media — but Vault works equally well with BrightSign, Samsung MagicINFO, Scala, and all other HTML5-capable players.
Which systems can Vault connect to?
Vault supports 40+ integrations across 8 categories: Communication (Teams, Slack, Outlook, Zoom, Webex, Mattermost), Document Management (SharePoint, Confluence, Notion, Google Drive, OneDrive, Nextcloud, Dropbox, Box), ERP (SAP, Dynamics 365, Salesforce, HubSpot, Oracle/NetSuite, ServiceNow), HR (Personio, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, BambooHR), Project Management (Jira, Azure DevOps, Asana, Monday.com), IT Operations (PagerDuty, Zendesk, Freshdesk), BI (Power BI, Tableau, Looker), and Output Channels (viewneo, Slack & Teams, Email, WhatsApp Business, Webhooks/REST API, RSS).
Can additional integrations be added?
Yes. Vault provides an OpenAI-compatible REST API and supports webhooks, so virtually any system can be connected. New connectors are also added regularly. If a specific system is not yet preconfigured, it can typically be set up as a custom integration within a few days.
